Jonas Bronck´s Rosehip juice

A forgotten apple-like fruit that actually belongs to the Rose family (not to be confused with "Quince apples"). The bushes, which are waist-high and thorny, were relatively common on old farms and crofts. They ripen in late autumn and are very sour but aromatic. Rose quince juice is probably Jonas Bronck's alone. Freshly pressed Rose quince juice is a sustainable Swedish product to replace imported Lemon, Lime and Yuzu. Why fly in acid from the other side of the globe when we have this at home? This wonderful juice with its characteristic taste gives most drinks a new dimension with just a small added amount. Can of course also be used in cooking where you want a true Swedish freshness.
